However, if you run a business in a high-demand industry, like hospitality or construction, we understand the need for more frequent cleaning – typically every 3 to 6 months.

- use a Borescope camera (used to inspect aircraft engines) to examine areas inside the unit that you can’t visibly access, including the drains; and
- offer a subscription service for regular servicing of AC units in high-traffic areas.

Our Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking our service. By accessing our service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
AirPro Darwin cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing condition that is not apparent upon visual inspection. These conditions may include but not be limited to:
- faulty remote controls, exhausted batteries or corrosion;
- faulty printed circuit boards in the evaporator/condenser; and
- worn airflow louvre motors or brittle louvres/filters due to age or poor maintenance.
Air conditioners over 8 years of age present a greater risk of failure or breakdown due to age. The customer accepts the risk that a breakdown/failure could occur, and, in such event, AirPro Darwin shall not be liable for:
- faulty or deteriorated pipe insulation or lagging;
- faulty or damaged electrical cabling, circuit breakers or circuit isolating switches;
- condensate pump failure or leaking where fitted post-cleaning;
- poorly mounted or unprofessional fixing of evaporators to walls or ceilings; and
- any system damage due to incorrect wall or ceiling fixing of HVAC equipment.
CANCELLATION FEE
Cancellation of any appointment must be at least four (4) hours before the agreed service commencement time. A cancellation fee of $50.00 shall be charged if no notice is given.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made through the visiting technician’s NAB EFTPOS facility or bank transfer or cash payment. EFTPOS payment attracts a surcharge of 2% per transaction. Payment options are to be agreed in advance.
Payment is to be made within three (3) business days. If payment is not made within that period, a $40 late fee may apply. On request, you may be granted a one (1) week payment extension.
ADDITIONAL SERVICE FEES
Surcharges can be applied to the following but not limited to:
·public holidays; or
·if the customer is located beyond Coolalinga, an agreed surcharge will apply per AC Unit.
Homeowner Obligations and FAQs
HOMEOWNERS ARE REQUESTED TO:
·remove furniture, curtain rods, pelmets, wall hangings, and/ or other obstacles; and
·ensure there is clear and sufficient access below the indoor air conditioner for the technician to safely open up a ladder.
AirPro Darwin is not liable for any damage caused to furniture, walls, floor coverings or any other property that hasn’t been cleared or when assisting in the removal of the same to access the air conditioner.
Where air conditioners are cleaned that have wall-mounted televisions below the air conditioner, no liability will be accepted for any damage caused by condensate leaking, in any period post-service. It is recommended that no flat-screen television or monitor be wall-mounted directly under an air conditioning evaporator.
Any issues regarding the service must be reported within 48 hours, and in the event of a customer complaint, the customer undertakes to provide AirPro Darwin the opportunity to rectify any issues of concern.
OUTDOOR CONDENSER CLEANING
AirPro Darwin will only provide outdoor condenser coil flushing where the condenser is mounted no higher than 3 metres above the ground and accessible by ladder.
ODOURS and CORROSION
We have found that the most common source of odours is:
·biological contamination of coils, blowers and drain pans;
·inadequate or incorrectly installed condensate drains;
·evaporators that have been subject to cooking fats and greases, incense, essential oils; and/or
·vermin and insects entering the system and dying in situ.
Whilst the AirPro Darwin cleaning and sanitising treatment and products do have a substantial deodorising effect, we do not guarantee against odours reoccurring. Also, most corrosion in AC systems is caused by sulphuric acid secreted by common bacteria, which chemically combine sulphur from the air with hydrogen and oxygen from water. So, a growth-free system will last substantially longer, use less power and operate more efficiently.
SERVICE AREA
We cover the Darwin, Palmerston and Rural areas up to the Coolalinga traffic lights with our normal pricing schedule. Service requests outside of that area will attract a surcharge for each AC Unit. Please ask for a quote if you live outside these areas.

DESOLV™ Evaporator Coil Cleaner & Blower Fan Cleaner (a non-acid, non-caustic, environmentally friendly coil cleaner that is biodegradable and presents very little hazard to people, animals and aquatic life) and is commonly used for the Indoor AC unit only when customers request a gentler alternative.
